Once completed the 32,000m2 facility will initially be focused on the production of Hanwha’s AS9 self-propelled howitzer and AS10 Armoured Ammunition Resupply vehicles with capacity for future expansion.

The facility includes:

• multiple assembly and production lines

• a 1,500-metre test track

• a deep-water test facility

• an R&D center and;

• an obstacle course to test capability

Toohey’s Form-crete have been contracted to deliver the concrete package for the facility including:

• Excavation and pouring of all pad footings, strip footings, rafts and beams to ground slabs

• Supply of all reinforcement and concrete

• FRP ground slabs approx. 18,000m2

• FRP suspended post tensioned slab approx. 2775m2

• Pour and finish in-situ columns and Stairmaster’s

• Supply, pour and finish all concrete approx. 10,000m3
