Overlooking the Geelong Waterfront and Corio Bay, Motif is a six-storey mixed-use development comprising of a collection of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments including two basement levels with approximately 160 carparks for residents and visitors.
The area of the site is approximately 3,424m2.
Toohey’s Form-crete were awarded the main structure package which comprises over 21,000m2 of floor area including 2 basement levels, a ground floor and 5 levels of suspended post tensioned slabs and roof.
Toohey’s Form-crete were contracted to deliver:
FRP hydrostatic slab to Basement L2 approx. 2400m3
Supply and installation of reinforcing steel
Installation of precast concrete panels
Supply and installation of temporary perimeter protection
Supply and installation of approximately 18,000m2 of post tensioned suspended concrete slabs between Basement L1 and Roof
Supply and installation of stair master’s to 3 separate stairwells
